We are not as healthy today as we were a few years ago. Why?

We’re seeing exploding rates of issues like obesity and anxiety, to name just two.  The truth is we are fighting to remain healthy on so many different fronts today.

We know how important a healthy gut is to health and It’s honestly hard to keep the gut healthy in today’s world without working on it.  Our food is not as nutritious as it used to be and is often contaminated with pesticides and herbicides, which the body has to deal with.  We’re more exposed to heavy metals and toxins in general.  These often get stored in the fat cells of the body as a way of keeping them from getting into some of our more vital organs.  Pathogens have an impact on the function of the gut.  The list goes on.

Counteracting this assault takes time – effort – and money.  You have to work at helping your body by having a solid health improvement plan in place.  This may involve changing the way you’re eating.  Breaking certain habits.  Giving the body a break by detoxing correctly.  Making sure you are hydrating correctly.  Being active, enjoying nature, and having fun.   Yes it takes time but I believe our true health is our wealth and that you owe it to yourself to be as healthy as you can be.
